Abeer Asad

 Abeer Asad is a cybersecurity professional with more than six years of experience specializing in cyber threat intelligence, incident response, and proactive defense strategy.

She currently serves as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst at Chevron, where she analyzes and contextualizes emerging cyber threats to help strengthen organizational security and support proactive cybersecurity operations.

Abeer earned her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and her Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from University of Houston.

Throughout her career, she has worked across multiple areas of cybersecurity, including cyber incident response and large-scale cybersecurity readiness exercises. Prior to her current role, she served as a Cyber Incident Response Analyst and later led complex incident response simulations as a Lead Cyber Incident Response Exercise Coordinator.

Her technical expertise is further supported by several respected GIAC certifications, including:

• GCFE – GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner
